​RATE & INSURANCE

My regular fee is $185 per 50-min session. For payment, I accept cash, check, E-transfer or credit card at the end of each session. I also have a few sliding scale slots, and may be available depending on need and availability.

A lot of insurance companies cover services provided by Registered Social Workers. Please consult your individual healthcare insurance plan to ascertain the extent of coverage available. It’s important to note that fees paid without insurance coverage may qualify for tax deductions as medical expenses. Please note that I don't do direct billing to insurance providers. Please check with your insurance if they are covering services from a Registered Social Worker or Master of Social Work.

SESSIONS

Sessions last 50 minutes. I offer video/phone sessions (using a PHIPA compliant telehealth service), so we can meet with each other at a more ideal time for you, no matter where in Ontario you’re located. The good news is that research shows video counselling to be just as effective as in-person counselling.

CANCELLATIONS

Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment, as long as they provide 24 hours notice. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, or fail to show up, you will be responsible for the fee and charged for the full-session rate.
